glass tile pendants

Joyfilled Family links to a great tutorial on lovely tile pendants...be sure to click here to see more of the images seen in the photo above.  Glass tiles could make cute pins or hair accessories-just glue on the appropriate findings.

Read the tutorial, then here are some hints for a group:
  • precut the images, or print them in an easy-to-cut format
  • adhere the image early in the meeting to allow drying time before painting on the finishing glaze, OR extend this to a two-meeting craft.
  • if adding bails for a pendant, an adult should use the E-6000 glue in a well-ventilated area.

    i would love to do this project with a group of girls. unfortunately, it doesn't work for the dynamic of my little flowers group--too many little ones.

    i am thinking about a craft weekend for my teen daughter and a few girlfriends. that is if i don't use up all the supplies before then. :-)

    keep me posted if you or anyone else tries this craft in a group setting. i'd love to see your creations.
