Catholic Rubber Stamps

Catholic Rubber Stamps carries a variety of saint stamps- see their site for more rubber stamps...these could be used to create holy cards, scrapbook images, icons, etc.

     Find Mother Cabrini (Wreath 1), St. Catherine of Siena among other saints. The above Miraculous Medal image could be used for St. Catherine Laboure crafts(Wreath 1).  Other images include Divine Mercy and lovely Marian stamps.

The Easter stamps include The Last Supper, and this pretty stained glass window with lilies (Wreath 2)

felt pouches

Charlotte's Fancy has a tutorial for sweet, budget-friendly felt pouches.
She uses hot glue, but these could be created by girls using fabric glue and some patience (or a mama with a hot-glue station for adding buttons and other notions).

Ideas:

• Pouch for holy cards or Little Flower memory cards
• Rosary pouch
• create a felt image of a saint or flower as the cover
• print an image on fabric and glue or stitch onto pouch

Check out Phar-Ma's precious ribbon bracelet tutorial. 
To tweak for a group craft:

• Pre- singe ribbon edges to avoid fraying (if you want to do that step)
• Allow girls to add velcro
• Pre cut one flower (instead of two as in the tutorial)
• glue on with fabric glue or...
• teach the girls to stitch on the flower, or pin it on?

For Little Flowers themes: 
ribbons: find patterns of ivy, hearts, sunflowers, etc.
center felt design: hearts (add a cross on top for Love of God), ivy, a cut out of your current flower, symbols of the saint or virtue (could even stitch on a saint medal).

• precut the images, or print them in an easy-to-cut format
• adhere the image early in the meeting to allow drying time before painting on the finishing glaze, OR extend this to a two-meeting craft.
• if adding bails for a pendant, an adult should use the E-6000 glue in a well-ventilated area.

Jesswilde on Instructables shares the instructions for easy-peasy tile coasters.

Only supplies needed:

• 16 cent tiles
•  Mod Podge (or 3 parts white glue, 1 part water, add  2 Tbsp varnish for shine)
• pretty printouts of your saint or flower.  (I recommend laser prints or color copies, as inkjet tends to smear if overworked...)

Also, Jesswilde recommends sticky felt on the back to protect surfaces- I would do that step first with the girls, then the decoupage.

*Update- I've seen several pretty coaster tutorials online- theirs are more time-intensive, yet more durable. I understand that unless you seal these with a polyurethane spray, that the Mod Podge is not entirely waterproof.  Also, heat can damage the surface. Eep.
Soooo.... see Prudent Baby for a more durable, yet time-consuming, probably-not-one-meeting craft.  Otherwise, be sure to offer the disclaimer for the above coasters:
light use, no hot beverages.

Oh, how I love, love, love, LOOOOVE puppets! I grew up in the Jim Henson era of Sesame Street, and puppets just make me happy. Grover is my favorite, by the way.

The Creative Crate shares a versatile necklace craft (could be used for keychains as well).  The technique could be used to create pendants featuring virtues, scripture, images of saints, etc.

Paper Bracelets

These lovely Paper bracelets by Alma Stoller would be great for any virtue- you could include quotes from the saint being studied, scripture, prayers... even images. 

*Remember that inkjet images will bleed with various wet media! Laser printers/color copies yield better results.
